SUPER NICE TO MEET YOU!

Grace Ellis Solomon is a New York– based performer, storyteller, and pocket-sized powerhouse. A proud member of Actor’s Equity Association, she burst onto the theatre scene with her breakout performance as Little Red Riding Hood in a new-concept production of INTO THE WOODS at Arden Theatre Company. Since then, she’s brought her bubbly, youthful, flirty energy to various roles such as Jane in A BRONX TALE, The Ghost of Christmas Past in Alan Menken’s A CHRISTMAS CAROL, and Rusty in FOOTLOOSE—a role that fits her essence to an absolute T. Known for her soaring mix-belt, bright legit soprano, and magnetic stage presence, Grace Ellis is passionate about redefining what it means to be a “Black ingénue” and bringing fresh representation to both Golden Age and contemporary musical theatre!

Hailing from Wilmington, Delaware, Grace Ellis first fell in love with music through the piano. She always knew she loved performing, and that love deepened in high school when she saw her first Broadway show. The moment Glinda floated into Oz in her glowing bubble, Grace Ellis knew she wanted to be part of that world—to create that same magic for others.

In her free time, Grace Ellis enjoys baking sweet treats, playing with her french bulldog Lola, and EVERYTHING VINTAGE!
